This selection of recently created products by Madrid designers and studios aims to be a small exhibition of the industrial design being created in the city. This exhibition takes its name from the initiative that arose spontaneously and resulted in its creation, and aims to increase the visibility of Madrid-based product design. The best that Madrid has to offer, together in one place!
Producto Fresco returns to Central de Diseño for the third year running. Each year this project, which was launched in 2012, showcases the best product designs created over the year by designers who are from Madrid in the broadest sense, that is, designers who live in or feel a connection to the capital, or designs produced by companies in our region.
As in previous years, the theme of this third edition of Producto Fresco is open. A special effort will be made to display the widest range possible of different types of designs, with everything from electronics to lighting, from the home to the office and commercial or public spaces, as well as consumer and automotive goods, digital designs and products made with 3D printers.
Products by entrepreneurs that have been produced or prototyped, even if they haven’t yet made it to market, will also have a chance to be exhibited.
The most experimental of designs will be shown in a separate space, devoted to the most cutting-edge attitudes on the Madrid design scene.
