A multilayer family saga moving backwards and forwards from 1959 to 2039, across four generations of the same family and between various locations in Europe and Australia.
The play Cuando deje de llover (translated into Spanish from the original English version When the Rain Stops Falling) is a multilayer family saga moving backwards and forwards from 1959 to 2039, across four generations of the same family and between various locations in Europe and Australia.    The play is an examination of parent-child relationships, in which nine characters from the same family face up to mysteries in their past so they can understand their future. This piece explores how patterns of betrayal, abandonment, destruction, forgiveness and love are unavoidably passed on from one generation to another. A powerful drama that goes straight to the heart of family ties and shows huge empathy for humans and their complexity, with unexpected touches of humour, poetry and hope.
