In this adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, while a troupe of comic actors rehearses a play for the celebrations surrounding the wedding of Hippolyta and Theseus, two couples in love flee the city of Athens in the name of true love. Everything goes pear-shaped when a sprite transforms the company’s main actor into a donkey and gives the young Athenians a substance that will make them fall in love with the wrong person.
One of Shakespeare’s most beautiful works. A classic of world literature full of charm and wit that the whole family will enjoy.
