This is the first project in The Party is Permanent open call curated by Grupal Crew Collective, which can be enjoyed in this edition of La Plaza en Verano.
Dancehall is much more than a genre of music. It’s a cultural phenomenon that originated in Jamaica based on the social atmosphere, on the community meetings where food was combined with dancing and celebration.
Come to di Dancehall is a celebratory project that transports us to that world, a game of bodily expression where everyone finds a fun way of losing their inhibitions and, bit by bit, learning to move to the intense beats of Dancehall.
DJs, dancers and a dance masterclass make for an out-and-out party.
