Nosotros closely follows a group of five friends over the week-end of December 2015 when the General Elections in Spain took place. Maria, Suko, Sarah, Silk and Felipe are in their thirties and they met in Madrid. They belong to a complex, fragile generation, the first in many decades that, according to sociologists, will have a worse life than their parents.
A generation that has suffered the worst economic crisis in recent history, and has done so just in time to join the labour market; a generation that has faced unfulfilled promises, which has had to reinvent itself to survive, which has been forced to postpone dreams and projects, who has had to consider emigration as a way out towards a dignified life.
All five friends are at a crossroads: Suko lives his recent fatherhood, Sarah the personal cost of activism, Seda the limits of her commitment to art, María the invisible mould of loneliness, Felipe the uncertainty of distance.
Coinciding with a decisive moment for the political future of the country, all of them will have to make a series of decisions that might shake the course of their lives.
