BOWIE, BACK TO EARTH

On the second anniversary of David Robert Jones´ death, the man who returned to space, Cineteca pays tribute to David Bowie bringing him back to Earth, where he shouldn't have left, though a series of films in which he starred under one of his many personalities. Always somewhere between music, art and performance. Included are footage by the king of life cinema D.A. Pennebaker, one of his concerts under the name of Ziggy Stardust, the always unsettling Labyrinth or a restored version of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, by David Lynch or the vampires story The Hunger, first work from the late director Tony Scott.
