Plaza Matadero becomes the best outdoor screen in the city with the best selection of independent film titles. Programme from 1 to 4 August.
For the second year running, Plaza Matadero becomes the best open-air screen in the city, with the best selection of completely unreleased independent films in Madrid. Twenty films, coming from the best festivals -Locarno, Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and San Sebastián-, all preceded by their critical and public success and still unreleased on Madrid's screens.

An inexperienced local sheriff leds the investigation of a young girl's disappearance in the rural Midwest. The ripple of fear and suspicion among the small-town residents destroys some relationships and strengthens others. This mystical teen noir presents coming of age as a life-long process and examines the profound impact of grief as the teenagers experience an accelerated loss of innocence while their parents are forced to confront adulthood failures.
