For the second year running, Plaza Matadero becomes the best open-air screen in the city, with the best selection of completely unreleased independent films in Madrid. Twenty films, coming from the best festivals -Locarno, Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and San Sebastián-, all preceded by their critical and public success and still unreleased on Madrid's screens.
Austral monsters, summer meteorites, Russian propaganda, freaky contemporary western films, family upheavals, amusement parks, bicycles, lights, love stories or young people looking forward to the future. Cineteca and Matadero give you reasons for not having to flee the city on August nights.
