Following Juan María Franco’s hunger strike at having been given €93, 000 of unfair fines as owner of the famous ‘Café del Mono’, Juan even suspects the Mafia may be implicated.

Juan María Franco, owner of the famous pub, “Café del Mono”, was unfairly given several fines amounting to a total of €93,000. So he decides to go on hunger strike in the Plaza Mayor. He suspects that the mafia established in the Latin Quarter have something to do with all of this.
