A show that is much more than a mere biography, based on the poetry, music and visual works of the late Lou Reed. It arrives at Matadero Madrid’s Naves del Español following its September premiere in Teatro Romea in Barcelona.
Desde Berlín addresses the difficulty of living within the bounds of societal conventions, of searching for a different forum in which to expresspassion, focusing particularly on how to live on the wild side in a normal, everyday fashion. It is a tribute to a generation that taught us different outlooks on life through the memory of Lou Reed, an exceptional artist whose work and attitude towards life showed us different approaches to living.
Andrés Lima acts as dramatist and director of this work, written by Juan Villoro, Juan Cabestany and Pau Miró and featuring actors Nathalie Poza and Pablo Derqui.
