"Rompu, rompu la murojn inter la popoloj!" ("Break, break the walls between the peoples! ") is a hybrid project that uses theatrical representation, animation and sound to reflect on the power of language and voice as a social tool.

The result will be an experimental project consisting of audio visual and theatrical pieces, creating a trilogy of short pieces.

In these times, which are saturated with codes, the phatic function of language has been broken, messages rebound without reaching anywhere, devoid of meaning and making it difficult to apprehend what surrounds us. Starting from experimentation around theatrical devices, this project seeks to explore deficits in human communication and Voice politics in the era of the digital panoptic.

Using folklore and classical myths as a starting point, this choral project will mix the Greek myth of Eco and Narcissus, the figure of Caliban or imagined Esperantista Brigades ready to give meaning to our present. Madrid, 1989 Blanca lives and works in Madrid.

She graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, and completed part of her studies in New Mexico (United States). She has collaborated with the Debajo del Sombrero Association, a contemporary creative group aimed at people with special needs, based in La Casa Encendida and Matadero Madrid.
