The exhibition entitled DO YOU LIKE READING? commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Círculo de Lectores book club and is essentially bibliographic in nature. This approach reflects the organisation's primary role; i.e. the publication and dissemination of books among all who love to read. The five sections of the exhibition take us on a fascinating journey spanning thousands of books that have become an integral part of family life in Spain over the last fifty years. The book club known as the Círculo de Lectores has been and remains crucial for understanding how day-to-day life in Spain has unfolded over the years.
