Estudio Debajo del sombrero
The Estudio Debajo del Sombrero is an assisted studio for artists.
A space conceived with the firm intention of bringing to the forefront of the most current art scene, the indispensable testimony of the work of artists with intellectual disabilities - work that is otherwise not to be found on that scene due to its supposed lack of substance.
A lack of substance to which a reflection devoid of prejudices, surprised by the unexpected and hitherto unknown transcendence of these gazes, turns its attention.
The Estudio is currently hosting 45 artists who are supported by the Debajo del Sombrero team of facilitators and by collaborators from the artistic world who work as volunteers every year.
