SITE-SPECIFIC WORKSHOP

Site-specific installations are those artworks made especially for one specific place. The programa Abierto x Obras at Matadero Madrid has been working in the diffusion of this kind of art creation in the Old Cold Storage for years.  Now, the Site-specific workshop aims to repurpose the same concept to allow our youth to enjoy it, via art workshops where children can work with the same materials and ideas as the artist present at this time.  This spring, the workshop focuses on the installation by Hisae Ikenaga, Sistema Métrico Decimal Campo de Fútbol.
