IKEA DEMOCRATIC DESIGN

In the fifteen years that have passed since its arrival to Spain, Ikea has become quite an influential force.  This exhibit puts on display the most important design icons created by the Swedish brand and Central de Diseño presents the project Ikea al Cubo ("Ikea cubed"), where design school and university students create unique spaces where creativity reigns, using Ikea products in small cubes.

Informative chat sessions for young industrial designers will take place May 13 and 17; workshops dealing with furniture design and geared towards children will also be held May 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22.
