Under the slogan CARRETERA Y MANTRA (ROAD AND MANTRA), the 7th programme of BELLAMATAMÁTIC brings together a selection of art publications created by La Más Bella that deals with the idea of travelling along different paths, whether externally or internally. Transit, tourism, strolling, following a route and moving around, as well as inner voyages, ecstasy and hallucinations, are all stations to visit if you decide to set off on the BELLAMATAMÁTIC vending machine’s new programme.
Presentation on 15 July with Josep Pedrals.
The presentation of CARRETERA Y MANTRA, the seventh programme of BELLAMATAMÁTIC, will be on 15 July 2011 at 9 pm, and will include a performance by the entertaining Barcelonan poet and reader Josep Pedrals.
Moreover, the lovely evening will come with a top-class cocktail.
Born in Barcelona in 1979, Josep Pedrals, is a poet and reader with more than one thousand performances under his belt in Spain, Europe and the Americas, and he has become one of the funniest voices on the poetry recital scene. He is the author of various books and different plays, including the well-received Wamba va! (Wamba, go!). He has discussed poetry in the press, on the radio and on television. He is a specialist in introductory poetry courses for children and young people, and in special workshops on recitation. He coordinates the Workshops for Recitation and New Literary Attitudes in the Horiginal restaurant/performance space in Barcelona. He writes lyrics for various musicians and groups, and is the front man for the pop band Els Nens Eutròfics
