RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY. From dusty shellac discs and cassette tapes to 12” vinyl, computer-recorded CDs and MP3s, countless storage formats have been proclaimed as the future of recorded sound. The Academy pays tribute to this development and explores the way in which each format was emblematic of each era through an exhibition and party with various DJs - Hatcha, Greg Wilson, Clams Casino, Hermanos Pizarro, Dinamo - who will use the only reproduction technology with which they have made their mark.
