ON VAMPYRES AND OTHER SYMPTOMS

“Last night I dreamed they came back. I think something’s about to happen.” The latest script being written by José R. Larraz (82 years), together with some moments from his films, submerge us in this author’s mysterious dreamworld and investigate the origin of his love of horror. The journey he made to the Sitges Fantasy Film Festival to receive the award paying tribute to his cult film Vampyres(1974) shows Larraz as a storyteller, but above all reveals the way he himself fits into his fiction.
