LA DERNIÈRE ANNÉE

PALMARÉS DE L`ALTERNATIVA.  Grape picking in Rasiguères, a town in the French Pyrenees means a month of living together in intensely close-quarters for the pickers, who reminisce, on the eve of the last days of work, about the time spent picking together in the countryside.  The traditions and the old movements of picking, as old as the vineyards themselves, are resumed and made their own by the harvesters of today.  This film was created while working in 16mm in black and white to document the past.
