Casa del Lector puts forward an activity for the whole family, where parents and children can enter the world of stories and dreams through two simultaneous activities.
While parents are attending the Story time (La hora del cuento) workshop to become masters in the art of story telling, the little ones enjoy Dreams, they are stories (Los sueños, cuentos son), where they immerse themselves, through activities and games, in the exciting universe of dreams and fantasy.
Reading to tell stories: Story time
The story is a privileged genre that can be used to educate our children, those who are responsible for our future. There are many: traditional, oral, allegorical, fantastical…stories, but which do we choose from so that our children see our love, our dedication and our support for their education? This is our aim: that parents read and act out a range of stories that can subsequently be selected to suit the needs of their children and enrich the educational process, incorporating reading and the loving relationship it encourages between parents and children when reading aloud, reinforcing that “story time” that is so common to all our homes.
