The association Debajo del Sombrero, through Intermediae, develops workshops that aim to create new relationship models involving artIstic practices together with people facing cognitive and/or developmental difficulties. This working space is accompanied by several tools designed to increase the visibility of their working process and vary, changing throughout the year according to the needs of Debajo del Sombrero.
In 2013, a notable creation was MIC,the display created by artist Álvaro Matxinbarrena with a video screen and a drawer containing printed information to give. And to receive, a little drawer where paper and pencil were offered to visitors who wished to leave a suggestion, a podium for writing it down, and a letterbox where it could be left. This type of intervention in the warehouse occupied by Intermediae has been thought up as a dialogue for the format and content that transforms over time, depending on how the workshops take shape.
