Anders will soon be completing his treatment at a detoxification centre. As part of his therapy, he is allowed to go to the city for a job interview. Taking advantage of this day out, he decides to stay in the city and hang out with people he hasn't seen for a long time. At 34, Anders is smart, handsome and from a good background, but he's haunted by the opportunities that he's wasted and the people he's let down. Though he's still young, he feels his life is already over. As the day draws to an end, a long night lays ahead in which his past mistakes are set to kindle the flames of love, the chance for a new life and the hope of imagining a future that could begin the very next day.
