MICROONDAS: FROM COOKING TO ACTION/ Resistance through art and education

How are we able to transform our immediate realities through art and education? That is the question that the collective Pedagogías Invisibles (PI) are asking as they launch a programe a new edition of Microondas. After having proposed the methodologica changes necesary to create the rEDUvolution in the different education contexts, developing professional and research activities, now they propose to explore the various ways in which educators can use art and education to to introduce social interventions and promote an active political conscience in citizens.
Under the title Pedagogías ¿activistas, throughout January, February and March they will begin with reflection and action centered of the terminology and educational theories, artistic and activist that drive and sustain our positions. If we claim to be critical citizens, we ask ourselves when this training begins? Activist? What chance does a faculty have to be part of an activist pedagogy? How are we able to live the "disruptive", "regenerative", "optomistic" and "transformative" in terms of a formal context <18 education?
Each ,pmth they will hold a meeting (Thursday 30 January, 27 February and 27 March from 5pm to 8pm in El Taller at Matadero) that will be a starting point for sharing thoughts and actions that can develop in an organic way. Furthermore, Education Disruptiva's blog will be a fundamental tool to continue and make visable the development of this work.
