THE DELLO JATO VALLEY

 A documentary showing the day to day life of the self-taught journalist Pino Maniaci on his crusade to liberate Sicily of the Mafia and the curruption that through his own family viewing network, Telejato. In a region struggling to shake off old traditions, the indomitable Pino Maniaci emerges as a controversial vigilante in the fight to continue broadcasting in times of change. The story of this modern Don Quixote reflects of the fragility of indepndent sources of information in our times.
