RESIDENCY FOCUSED ON ART AND EDUCATION

The main goal of this residency is to carry out a process of reflection and research, along with the activation of a mediation, art, and education program that will take place at the cultural center's facilities and conceptually align with one or both of the lines of research and action described below. Research projects may focus on either one or both proposed areas.

Line 1
This line includes proposals — from the perspective of expanded mediation and art and education — that reflect on and respond to the contemporary urgencies of our time, such as bodily and/or affective-sexual dissidences; anti-racist activism; the climate emergency; productivist and accelerationist transformations in the world of labor; or issues surrounding mental health.

Line 2
This line includes projects whose research focuses on mediation itself and the intersections between art and education.

Information Session
An information session on our art and education residency open call will be held on May 21 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The team from the Center for Artistic Residencies will be available to answer any questions during the meeting, and we invite you to attend.
