Between April 7 and 10, 2022 Cineteca Madrid was the setting for the first Madrid edition of DocDoc, a Festival that showcases the link between documentary film and literature and which will combine film screenings and in-depth dialogues with authors and artists.

The DocDoc Madrid program, designed by Antonio Lucas and Gerardo Marín, directors of the festival, revolves around figures and themes as diverse as the telekinetic writer Kurt Vonnegut, the singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, the late chef and writer Anthony Bourdain, the portrait of the trans identity of the screenwriter Raphäelle Perez, the centenary of Joyce's Ulysses or the joy of adventure in Mark Twain. And in the round tables that will take place at the end of the screenings, coming from different fields and disciplines, will take part outstanding figures of the current cultural scene such as Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Pilar Reyes, Ángeles Caso, Carlos Zanón, Soleá Morente, Remedios Zafra, Ray Loriga, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Manuel Jabois, Pol Guasch, Marta Fernández, Antonio Soler, Juan Manuel de Prada, Borja Bergareche and Paula Corroto, among others.
