Lelé Guillén

Despierta (Wake Up)

In her project, Lelé Guillén seeks to explore the possibilities of interacting with organisms and living beings with which we coexist, although we are not able to receive information from them. Through the process of bio-sonification, it is possible to obtain bio-emissions, micro fluctuations of electrical conductivity thanks to which we are able to interact with other living organisms by converting their biorhythms into sound. Despierta will be an EP of four songs that proposes the investigation of the dialogue between the musical bases created from bio-sonification, the rhythms and instruments of Peruvian folklore, and lyrics that invite us to connect with life more intensely.
