FASHION VICTIMS 2.0 (María Lorenzo Hernández, España, 2023, 2’)
Una interpretación animada del mural ejecutado por Escif en enero de 2022, que refleja el trabajo infantil forzoso en los países en desarrollo para mantener la industria de la moda. El cortometraje da vida a los personajes del mural para denunciar el sinsentido de nuestros hábitos de consumo, claramente insostenibles, al tiempo que también es un homenaje al arte urbano de Valencia. / An animated interpretation of the mural created by Escif in January 2022, depicting child labour in developing countries to support the fashion industry. The short film brings the characters in the mural to life to denounce the sheer folly of our clearly unsustainable consumer habits, while also paying tribute to Valencia's urban art.

ÉL CORRIÓ JUNTO A SU CAMARADA (Genís Rigol, España, 2022, 14’)
El protagonista es un empresario en busca de la popularidad, que evade impuestos pero practica la filantropía, entendiendo la solidaridad de una forma personal. Para ser popular se dedica a generar problemas a la gente con el objetivo de poder ayudarles. Su objetivo pasará siempre por delante del resto de personas y circunstancias, destapando las profundas contradicciones de su forma de hacer. / The main character is a businessman in search of popularity, who understands solidarity in a rather personal way - he is a tax evader but also a philanthropist. In order to be popular, he devotes himself to creating problems for people so that he can help them. He always puts his goal ahead of everyone and everything else, revealing the profound contradictions of his behaviour.

AMANECE LA NOCHE MÁS LARGA (Carlos Fernández de Vigo, Lorena Ares, España, 2022, 9’)
Los cuatro jinetes del Apocalipsis se reúnen para analizar el estado de la humanidad y discutir sus estrategias para el futuro. Una débil y moribunda Muerte recibe a sus compañeros con la intención de convencerles de torturar menos a los humanos, pero Hambre, Peste y Guerra sueñan con una humanidad atrapada en un mundo sin escapatoria. Nominado a los Goya 2023. / The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse meet to analyse the state humanity is in and discuss their strategies for the future. A weak and dying Death receives his companions and tries to persuade them not to torture mankind so much, but Hunger, Plague and War dream of a humanity trapped in a world with no escape. Nominated for a Goya Award in 2023.

BECARIAS (Marina Cortón, Marina Donderis, Nuria Poveda, España, 2022, 10’)
Tres amigas empiezan su primera experiencia como adultas independizadas en un piso compartido. Dos de las amigas son contratadas por una empresa de animación. Las jóvenes adultas se desmelenan y se olvidan de sus nuevas responsabilidades. Esto las llevará a darse cuenta de que deberían haber leído los términos y condiciones del mundo adulto con más atención. / Three friends embark on their first experiences as independent adults in a shared flat. Two of the friends find work in an animation company. The young adults freak out and forget about their new responsibilities. They then realise that they should have read the terms and conditions of the adult world more carefully.

ASHKASHA (Lara Maltz, España, 2022, 6’)
Ashkasha es un ser que se guía por su curiosidad, lo que la lleva a perder su cabeza y ser atrapada por las profundidades. Allí se sumerge en un viaje de búsqueda. Primer cortometraje como directora de Lara Maltz, artista argentina residente en Barcelona y estudiante del Master de Animación y Realización Stop Motion en la Escuela de Cine de Barcelona (ECIB). / Driven by her curiosity, Ashkasha loses her mind and ends up trapped in the depths. There she embarks on a journey of search. The first short film as a director by Lara Maltz, an Argentinean artist based in Barcelona and currently studying for a master's degree in Stop Motion Animation and Filmmaking at the Barcelona Film School (ECIB).

DEAR MICHAEL (Joan Bover, España, 2022, 14’)
Diez años después de la muerte de Michael Jackson, el director de cine Marcos Cabotá decide escribirle una carta con todas las cosas que no pudo decirle en vida. El cortometraje es una reflexión sobre una de las mayores figuras que ha dado nunca la música y un canto a todo lo que transmitió a millones de personas, más allá de las controversias y polémicas que siguen rodeándole. / Ten years after Michael Jackson's death, film director Marcos Cabotá decides to write him a letter to tell him everything he couldn’t tell him when he was alive. The short film is a reflection on one of the greatest artists the music world has ever produced and an ode to all that he meant to millions of people, regardless of the controversies and polemics that continue to surround him.

LAS INVASIONES BIOLÓGICAS. EL CASO DEL OVIS ORIENTALIS MUSIMON EN LA ISLA DE TENERIFE: EL ÚLTIMO MUFLÓN (Omar Al Abdul Razzak, Shira Ukrainitz, España, 2022, 10’)
Un joven muflón trata de sobrevivir a la última campaña de exterminio contra sus congéneres en la volcánica isla de Tenerife. Tercer cortometraje documental de animación, dirigido por el tándem formado por el cineasta canario Omar Al Abdul Razzak y la directora de animación israelí Shir Ukrainitz, ambos residentes en las Islas Canarias. / A young mouflon tries to survive the latest extermination campaign against his fellow creatures on the volcanic island of Tenerife. The third animated documentary short film, directed by the tandem formed by the Canarian filmmaker Omar Al Abdul Razzak and the Israeli animation director Shir Ukrainitz, both residents of the Canary Islands.

LOST AT SEA (Andrés Alejandro Bartos Amory, Lucija Tojevic, España, 2023, 4’)
Corto semidocumental basado en la historia real de un hombre rohingya que se vio obligado a huir por mar con docenas de personas, entre ellos mujeres y niños, y quedó varado durante más de dos semanas en el mar de Andamán. El hombre es atormentado por la canción que le cantaba su madre y busca en su memoria las razones que le llevaron a huir. En lengua rohingya con la voz de la cantante y activista Thida Shania. / A semi-documentary short film based on the true story of a Rohingya man who was forced to flee with dozens of others, including women and children, and who spent more than two weeks adrift on the Andaman Sea. Haunted by a song his mother used to sing to him, he racks his memory trying to remember why he had to flee. In the Rohingya language, with the voice of singer and activist Thida Shania.

CONEJ STEPS OUT (Pablo Río, España, 2023, 7’)
Para darle el regalo definitivo en su próxima cita a su novia Claire, Conej está dispuesto a viajar por el cosmos y más allá en su plan más inusual hasta la fecha. Conej rápidamente se pone manos a la obra para construir un cohete con el objetivo de convencer a Claire para que juntos se vayan a la luna. Homenaje a los cartoons de autores clásicos como Bob Clampett o Tex Avery. / Determined to give his girlfriend Claire the ultimate gift on their next date, Conej is prepared to travel the cosmos and beyond in his most unusual plan to date. Conej quickly sets to work to build a rocket to convince Claire to fly to the moon with him. A tribute to the cartoons of such classic authors as Bob Clampett and Tex Avery.

HUMBUG MANOR (Juan Carlos Mostaza, España, 2022, 17’)
1950. En un nuevo capítulo del serial radiofónico de moda, el inspector Pratt está a punto de desvelar quién es el asesino de Mrs. Brown, la rica heredera del emporio joyero Balme. Los sospechosos esperan reunidos en el enorme salón victoriano, expectantes por la resolución del más sagaz de los detectives. Pero nada es lo que parece en Humbug Manor.
