Between the horn of Africa and the western coast of the countries in sub-Saharan Africa, 6,000 girls are subjected on a daily basis to a practice known as female genital mutilation (FGM). And every day, with little more than a strong will and a deep love for their communities, courageous activists are making their way to break the silence surrounding this centuries-long traditional practice.  The film offers a serious look at the matter from the point of view of the front line of a silent revolution that is taking the continent by storm, traveling through remote villages in Burkina Faso, Kenya, Mali, Somalia and Tanzania.
