A documentary divided in two parts that tells the story of the Palestine catastrophe (Al Nakba), from 1799 until the present day.  With unique archival footage and testimonials from Israeli, Palestinian and British historians, an extraordinary story is told that reflects even today's Middle East affairs.  The first part covers the period compending 1799 to 1947.  The second part digs deep into the occurences of 1948, dealing with the ethnic cleansing and the expulsion of 800,000 Palestinians who would become refugees, now numbering five million. Winner of the Best Documentary Award at the V Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival, 2009.
