AL OTRO LADO DEL MURO

The relationship between Ale (18) and Rocío (13) faces the biggest challenge when her mother goes to prison after an unfair trial. From that moment on they will have to act as father and mother of their two younger siblings. In the beginning they take up the role happily, promising eachother help to keep the familiy together, but being illegal immigrants from Honduras, their right to live, work or study in México is at risk. Soon, the wall between them and their mother will also turn to be an emotional barrier that will stop the sibblings from standing in eachothers shoes. Fortunately, when the relationship between them is at its worst, a light of hope turns up.
