What happens when we remove the barriers between performers and audience? And when we treat babies as the most sensitive and perceptive audience in the world?
Based on the pioneering Concerts for Babies by Paulo Lameiro and grounded in Edwin Gordon’s Music Learning Theory, AMAMÁ is a musical and movement journey without words. It unfolds through original music created from humming inspired by babies’ proto-language, performed by a unique instrumental quartet (voices, percussion, violin and accordion).
