A neighbour experiences the demolition of the house next door and a building being built on the site, over a two-year period. Lots of things happen in this time: a death and a birth, neighbourhoods being demolished, buildings being built and the passage of the seasons. At last, when the building is finished and being lived in, the new neighbours look down at the lead character from their balconies, as if at the remains of a culture that has been overcome in a silent, urban war. This is a film about cities being taken over by a faceless invader: a film about the passage of time in a space that is being transformed.

This screening includes an in introduction and Q&A with Ignacio Agüero.
