To mark the opening of the exhibition El hilo de Ariadna, Valerie de la Dehesa, artist and photojournalist, is offering a workshop dedicated to studying the work of contemporary women artists whose work has some connection with the labyrinth, language, thread, sewing, repetition, and rituals as a medium for the artistic expression of the feminine experience, relating it to archetypes and myths.  The artist wants to trace a labyrinthine route through the works of these contemporary artists and work on practical exercises based on texts by visual artists, images, videos, and performances where one can interact with the labyrinth: a reading made via thread, our eyes on it.
Aims:
To encourage visual, interactive, experimental, and performance-based readings, with special attention paid to the student's point of view and delving into the world of contemporary artists working with the labyrinth, thread, language, memory, and rituals.

Guest artists:

Yolanda Tabanera and Montserrat Díaz Herrero
