BEIJING TIME. LA HORA DE CHINA

The time in Peking is the time in China according to the time zones of the country, but this “time” is also a clear indicator of the appearance of China as a large world power.  The exhibitive project has all the recent works of 17 Chinese artists, based in Beijing.  The show proposes a panoramic vision of the contemporary creation form photographs, videos, video-installations, cinema and performances.  This exhibition is in anticipation of Expo 2010 Shanghai, taking on a large format for contents that are directly related to the city, whose model is characterized by its hybridization, its multicultural diversity and the integration of multiple strata constituting its identity.
