The Biggest Vinyl Jam Session by Alma Soul Music is an eclectic music vinyl record marathon, selected at the open public competition for Summer in Plaza Matadero.
Music as a means of stirring emotions and feelings. Vinyl as a tool to spread a message. These are the two premises behind the creation of The Biggest Vinyl Jam Session, an event that will gather together some very different personalities: DJs, artists of every sort, self-proclaimed music lovers and simple amateurs.
There’s a place in the booth for all of them to share two vinyl records of their choosing with the audience, whether their goal is to make people dance, touch their emotions, make them sing or any other objective they may have in mind. The specific musical voice, genre or style is completely up to the individual DJ’s discretion, and registration to perform at the event as a DJ is also completely open. Sign up to take part.
