MÁS MATADERO. Madrid's edition of BYOB at Matadero Madrid welcomes 20 national artists hosting a series of one-night-exhibitions where new formats for video art are the focus.
BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) is a series of one-night-exhibitions hosting artists and their projectors.  The first edition was held in Berlin in July 2010, initiated by Rafaêl Rozendaal.  Since then there have been many different editions in cities and art centres such as: NYC, LA, the Kunsthalle Athena in Athens, the Irish Museum of Contemporary Art in Dublin, the Biennale di Venezia and the Hyde Park Art Center of Chicago.

The Nave 16 building at Matadero Madrid has been selected as the venue for Madrid's version of BYOB, which is curated by Barriobajero.  This collective formed by Silvia Bianchi and Ricardo Juárez  believes in new artistic formats and experimental projects and avoids conventional aesthetic clichés.

BYOB Madrid will include the contributions of 20 artists, representing many different disciplines from across the nation, such as video art, post-Internet art, veejaying and installation art.

The music of Isométrico will accompany the artists' projections.
