Carnival 2026 at Matadero

This year, Matadero Madrid will host the official opening proclamation of Madrid Carnival 2026. A well-known and much-loved public figure will address the audience, setting the festive spirit in motion and inviting people of all ages to take part, in a warm, celebratory, and inclusive tone.
The program also includes workshops and shows for children, a large music party, and the traditional parade of giants and big-headed figures, as well as the manteo del pelele.
