Who hasn’t danced at some point? Alone or in company. To celebrate, to fall in love, to let off steam, to feel free…

A chotis, a pasodoble, even a waltz. A piece set to pop, rock, rap and trap, hip-hop, reggaeton, or electronic music… Traditional or world dances. Ballet, modern, contemporary. Dancing apart or dancing close. At a wedding, a club, or on the beach. In public squares or on a stage.

And now, at Centro Danza Matadero, the perfect place to dance.

Porque yo lo bailo is an invitation to cast off shame, prejudice, and fear in order to share steps, rhythms, and choreographies. A party where children, young people, adults, amateurs, and professionals are all invited. It is not a matter of technique; it is only about energy.

An incitement to share and mingle with dance professionals. To participate in company and communion. To have fun. To let loose. To enter a trance.

Under the direction of Enrique Cabrera and alongside creators such as Elisa Sanz (scenic design), Pedro Yagüe and Eduardo Berja (lighting design), and Luis Miguel Cobo (composer and DJ for this occasion), Aracaladanza brings to this celebration of International Dance Day its renowned track record in the field of contemporary dance and creation for broad audiences.

Their hallmark —visual play, scenic poetry, and imagination as a bridge for connection— permeates the entire celebration, turning it into an artistic act that is, at the same time, festive, inclusive, and transformative.

Now, only you are missing. Do you accept the challenge? Do you dare to participate?

Invitations available starting April 27.
