CHILDREN'S GAME

Children’s game by Gema Herrero is a record of practices that take place in spaces modified by residents as a result of the economic crisis. The starting point is a conflict out of which a collective creative and transformational activity has taken place. All the spaces in question emerge as the outcome of them being temporarily handed over to the local residents.   Based on the project described, an installation is proposed consisting of pieces of wood suspended in the air by a fine thread. Each piece shows images from the project on one of their faces. The square-shaped pieces are to be hung at different heights close to eye level.
