Want to see how collective cinema is made in the Fábrica de Cine sin Autor (Cinema Factory without an Author)? Want to get involved with a film in progress?   The Fábrica de Cine sin Autor shows, for the first time, scenes from five films which are already in progress and opens up the process of film for public participation.   On Wednesday 27th February, in Cineteca de Matadero Madrid, there will be a screening of scenes from Gioacchino’s films, the groups “Entrenosotros” and “Polvos varios”, who are students from the Centro de Educacíon Infantil and Primaria Legado Crespo, as well as the first documentary film from the group who filmed “Matame si quieres” (Kill Me If You Want). It won’t be Factory’s team that presents the process, but their own protagonists. The provisional footage will open the debate to the public, in a way that attendees can get involved with the films.   The Fábrica de Cine sin Autor began its activity in May 2012 in Intermediae. Since then, many people that have had nothing to do with cinema production have approached making films collectively.   In 2013 they will present their films in progress in monthly meetings which are open to anyone that wants to get involved. The public isn’t there only to watch the movies, but can also make them as well, in a new model of social film production.
