At Ciudad Diwo (Diwo City) children aged 7 to 12 will spend two weeks thinking and building their ideal camp. Through this experience of freedom, they will think about the world they live in and how to change it.
Knowing what you want to do and doing it is satisfactory. For this reason we offer an adventure space where there's no bells or whistles, there's no other obligation than what the children generate after deciding what to do.
And what am I going to do?
Think, imagine, build, learn, make, co-create. That is Diwo City's purpose
Do you picture yourself performing? We can do it.
Do you want to spend the day drawing and designing? Do it.
Do you enjoy team work? We like sharing.
Would you rather not do anything? We respect that.
Do you want to build a robot? We will.
Do you want to learn how to work with wood? We will learn how.
Do you want to go big? Well then, start now!
How does it work?
Children are accompanied by adults with a vocation to share their creative processes with others. It is not a Summer school but a freedom experience for the participants. The purpose is not to lead them, but rather it is for them to learn how their ideas and feelings are important and their choices are respected.
There will be two gatherings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the first one children will propose a schedule of activities for the day, and in the second there will be feedback about what happens throughout the day.

*(for your convenience, it is possible to arrive 30 minutes before the start and leave 30 minutes after the end of the activity (8:30am - 3:30pm). Outside these hours, the Centre cannot be responsible for the children).
