The Comedy of Errors is William Shakespeare’s shortest play. It is a sumptuous remake of the work by Plautus, "Menaechmi", inspired by another Greek work: "The Twins” by Posidipuss, and is probably based on a popular traditional short story.

The Bard of Stratford sets the action in an exotic and mysterious southern European city, Ephesus (Turkey) and majestically plays with the errors that confusion between one twin and another can cause, errors that are exponentially multiplied when there are two sets of twins, masters and servants that even become confused between themselves.
