We have invited the first two invitees to the curators-in-residency-project of Hablar en Arte “Curators’ Network curatorial residencies” to talk about their current projects and their curatorial praxis in general.   After these talks, Hablar en Arte will give a short overview on the outcomes of the third meeting of Curators’ Network that took place from 10th to 14th of October in Budapest, Hungary, presenting selected and artists and institutions that we came to know during the meeting.   Katharina Fichtner is curator, editor and founding member of curatorial collective THE OFFICE and lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Katharin founded THE OFFICE together with Ellen Blumenstein, Maribel Lopez and Kathrin Meyer. Projects include the publication series “The World According to” (with Iñaki Bonillas, Olaf Nicolai, Dora Garcia and Gert Jan Kocken), the lecture performance program “Perform a Lecture” (with Dan Graham, Eric Bünger, a.o.) and an ongoing performance series at the Hansaviertel (with Nathalie Djurberg, Carsten Nicolai, a.o.).   Karin Jaschke combines her practice as an independent curator with her work as exhibition organizer at OstLicht gallery for photography in Vienna. In her work she is interested in the intersections of art and history, especially in women’s history, documentary and performance art. She has an interdisciplinary approach to writing and curating and is writing texts on art and history for exhibition catalogues and art magazines such as springerin. Her numerous exhibitions and curated projects include works with artists such as Oliver Ressler and Marlene Haring or Maria Petschnig.   The curatorial residencies of Curators’ Network would not have been possible without the support of: Matadero Madrid Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte Instituto Ramón Llull AC/E
