“The Stolen Dances” (Los Bailes Robados) are inspired by the mysterious dance epidemics that once swept Europe, interpreted here as symbols of emancipation and resistance. In this artistic performance, the stage is transformed into a sacred space, invoking a ritual of rebellion in order to amplify the voices of those who are ostracised and subjected. The dancing bodies, with a deep yearning for freedom, become the vehicle of their own insurrection.

A chourl creation imbued with apocalyptic criticism and social demands. The dancers bring to the stage both the history and frenzy of uncontrolled movement and dramatic calm and harmony, emerging as masses connected to a single soul that gives rise to a new being of rhythmic movement. Everything is articulated and based on our own choreographic flamenco texts, conceived from the freedom of the avant-garde, which explores the questioning of norms and codes through time and the relationship between the individual and society.
