De Occullta Philosophia is film about the process of creating Baroque music, from the wood that could change how harpsicords are made in the future, through the efforts of the group La Reverencia, to how music dispears in the eyes of one woman. De Occulta Philosophia is about exploring the mystery (or space) between silence and sound, music and film, testing and staging, a note and and emotion that emerges from it. A path from the material to the immaterial. The group led by Alberto Andrés Gómez have interpreted Liétor, a town in Albacete whose churches have a unique sound to Spain thanks to it's unique construction, using a German Baroque repetoire (buztehude, Tunder, Back and Becker) along with compositions by Couperin and Monteverdi.
