DESIGN YOUR OWN TRIP TO AMERICA

Workshops, that are coordinated by Muakbabi, will begin with a brief tale of Guatemala that will serve as inspiration to make the designs. Characters and situations that appear in the tale will be part of the journey that will approximate the country to the children.  

• Self Edition and Story design. From 11.00 to 12.30 h. Ages between 5 and 8 years. It will show children how to bind a book (make the covers, paint them…) Pages will be created from magazines sheets and children will be encouraged to illustrate them with collages or drawings related to the tale story. Workshop will be taught by Roberto Vidal, editorial and web designer and independent curator.

 

• Ecodesign. From 13.45 to 14.45. Ages between 9 and 12 years. Children will make a bag with models made from organic materials and will customize it basing it on the tale. Elena Ingelmo who teaches the workshop, is fashion designer and illustrator.
