Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it is the legend of Sanchicorrota, a 15th-century bandit who stole money from the rich to give it to the poor. On this quest for the traces he left behind and his lost memory, half true story, half legend, we encounter all manner of things: sheep, hunters, film sets, a military base, and the painful memory of recent Spanish history abandoned in a hut in the desert of Bardenas.
