DISTRIBUTION POINT OF DVD CREADORES LIBRES

The “Creadores libres” (Free Creators) initiative has a distribution and information point at the Intermediæ building and other spaces including Medialab-Prado. This proposal is part of the Free(k) Culture project coordinated by Jay Barros that has brought together free licences and tools to create a collection of their work and distribute it at various cultural spaces in Madrid and on the Web. The result is this collection on DVD with a clear message: “Here is an alternative to the SGAE, the private copying levy, and the consumer industry. This alternative DOES EXIST. You too can be a creator and here is the material to make it possible”. The DVD includes a distribution of the Linux operating system that simply and intuitively integrates free programmes and tools for creation. > www.creadoreslibres.net
