DOCUMENTAMADRID 2017

Madrid's city council organises DOCUMENTAMADRID, a festival devoted to all kinds of documentaries and their search for paths through reality, their openness to the new languages and expressions of the genre.   DOCUMENTAMADRID is an annual meeting point for artists, professionals and the public to whom they address their works. The fourteenth edition of the Madrid's International Documentary Film Festival will take place in May, 4-14, 2017.   DOCUMENTAMADRID aims at supporting documentary films and Spanish artists in particular, as well as becoming a privileged space for dialogue between artists and public, where they discuss their best contemporary non-fiction films. In this new edition DOCUMENTA also opens doors to those artists and cinematographies that are drawing new aesthetic lines in film.
